Proverbs 3:5-6
5Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; 6in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.

Making straight the way for the Lord…
Proverbs 3:5-6
5Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; 6in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.
Sometimes a penitent sinner on the path of new life will be confronted (by Satan) with a question similar to “Who do you think you are, trying to be holy now?” That question can even come from the person in the mirror… my answer is “I’m not trying to be somebody I’m not, I’m just struggling to be who I really am.”
Prayerfully:
Oh Lord, help me remember always to ask, so that I may receive, and to seek, so that I may find, and to knock so that the door will be opened to me — all so that I might live the life You have planned for me since before I was born.
Amen.
Then I saw in the right hand of him who sat on the throne a scroll with writing on both sides and sealed with seven seals. 2And I saw a mighty angel proclaiming in a loud voice, “Who is worthy to break the seals and open the scroll?” 3But no one in heaven or on earth or under the earth could open the scroll or even look inside it. 4I wept and wept because no one was found who was worthy to open the scroll or look inside. 5Then one of the elders said to me, “Do not weep! See, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has triumphed. He is able to open the scroll and its seven seals.
25“Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? 26Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? 27Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life?”
The blessing of the LORD brings wealth, without painful toil for it.
