John 16:13-15
13“But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all the truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come. 14He will glorify me because it is from me that he will receive what he will make known to you. 15All that belongs to the Father is mine. That is why I said the Spirit will receive from me what he will make known to you.”
Without the Holy Spirit dwelling within us, filling our temples, it is impossible to stay on the narrow path. But with God all things are possible.
In the same way an airplane pilot depends on a navigator to correct course to adjust for wind, we must rely on the Holy Spirt to adjust our course due to sin and temptation.
